Many leading Sporting Clubs use Dial M to create a unique Social Evening for their Members and their Guests.

With music and song interwoven into each of our Themes, any Social Committee can guarantee that their Murder Mystery Dinner will be resounding success!

Two main sports are catered for in our “ Dial M Special Sporting Themes”, although each and every one of our many other themes has been performed at a Sports Club Dinner.

“Straight Up The Middle ”

Our golfing theme revolves around the Annual Matchplay Awards Dinner. Eddie Torr, the Club Chairman and local Newspaper Editor, hosts the prestigious event. Before the Trophy is presented there are several interludes of entertainment, including songs by the Pros wife and a Putting Competition on a specially prepared putting green. Big prizes are awarded for this and the golfing quiz that each guest can complete during the evening.

Of course the main event, or should be, is the presentation of the Matchplay Trophy, who has won this important competition? All will be revealed in “Straight up the Middle”.

“Northern Association Football (NAF) Awards.

The NAF personality of the year is THE award that all soccer players want to win. One player will be over the moon tonight as he collects the award, but has he brought any personality with him from Spain ?

A quiz for each guest to complete and a competition for the best club chant are included in this fun packed evening.

Held at Grotchester United's banqueting suite, the club Chairman and local fish and chip magnate, Arthur Portion, ensures the evening is a real three pointer.

If you want football, fun and excitement then the NAF Awards Dinner is the plaice to be!
